Irkut Corporation is taking part in Paris Air Show 2019

Irkut Corporation (a UAC member) is taking part in Paris Air Show 2019.

At the stand of the United Aircraft Corporation, the mock-up model of MC-21 aircraft and the upgraded version of procedural simulator for training (retraining) flight crews of MC-21-300 passenger aircraft are presented.

The procedural simulator of MC-21-300 has been upgraded including taking into account the results of flight tests.

The central part of the simulator is the unified MC-21 aircraft cabin module. The module enables to form different variants of training devices. 

The simulator has the latest versions of consoles and controls design, display and alarm systems of cockpit, upgraded software and hardware system for the visualization of cockpit environment. The simulator touch panels simulating a complete ceiling console is replaced with a full-featured simulator. The special software and mathematical software that simulates operation of aircraft systems has also been updated.

Irkut Corporation (a UAC member) is conducting tests of the MC-21-300 aircraft in order to obtain Russian and European type certificates. Three MC-21-300 aircraft are taking part in flight tests. On the fourth flight test aircraft systems are being installed to join the flight tests in 2019.
